So, what do you think is the top skill the kittens are honing right now? Keep in mind, these are Siberians, who are really smart and great problem solvers. Yes, you guessed it... biting! These little guys are biting everything: the litter box, their birthing box, the puppy training pads, the cat condo, cat scratcher, toys, each other, and most importantly ME! =)

Oh, these little guys are learning a lot, not just biting. I have personally witnessed Ajax and Ali using the litter properly. I am sure they can't be the only two and see evidence of previous use. Great sign! Although, they do still think the edge is for biting, and to play in, as well as the puppy pads around it, which are great for sliding and scrunching up to hear it crinkle. Or so I hear...

Climbing is also a biggie. I think we have a litter of some sort of special forces unit. lol They are really into ambushing each other, running at each other, tackling, and then scrambling to climb on something to get away. The cat condo is now also a climbing wall and race to see who gets to the top first. If they could repel, I'm sure they would.

Ace is a real scrapper! Must be the red head in him. He has displayed the typical cat arched back and tail up ready to attack. He is also a great boody wiggler, a clear sign he is about to pounce. He will scrap with anyone, anywhere...including with mom when she still tries to clean him. Ajax is still very curious and does what he wants to do no matter what his siblings are doing. He's an independent man. Angelo has been his little shadow of late and has ambushed Ajax a few times for a wrestling match. Alexi is a regal soul. He reminds me a lot of a male Ali, who is a little princess. Alexi has been a part of everything, from wrestling, to climbing, to exploring, to messing up the puppy pads. A real Renaissance Man. =)

Ana has been holding her own with the boys. She is right there into the climbing and scrapping, who has also taken to hopping. She's a real tom boy. Ali is a little runner and is very curious, but has this lady like mystique about her. She seems to do things with a certain sweet, feminine air about her. Even biting the scratcher is done delicately. Abby is a little quieter, but is right there in the thick of things if it's interesting.

Karina is still nursing, while the kittens have access to eat from the kibble as they need and learn. She is funny to watch as she watches the kittens play. If her head isn't swiveling, trying to keep track of what the rascals are doing in all four corners of the room, she gives up and just rests right in the middle of the room. Shiva visits his kittens at least once a day. He and Ajax did a little hide and seek this morning, and Ana got a bath from daddy. Then he eats some of their food and it's time to leave. lol
